Born in Lima in 1959, Peruvian expressionist artist Yvonne Mora has been artistically inclined since childhood. 

Inspired by Cezanne, Picasso, Van Gogh and Sorolla, she studied at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, graduating with honours in 1985.  

Yvonne’s first individual exhibition was held in Tsukuba, Japan, an experience she credits with enriching her artistically, opening her style to the universal, barrier-transcending expressionism her paintings are best known for today.

Influenced by humanity at its purest, Yvonne’s vivid palette and thrilling brushwork creates emotionally charged studies of her favourite subjects; jazz musicians, couples dancing, flower markets, serene beaches… everyday life, and the infinite possibility of a single moment.

Exhibiting extensively throughout Europe, The United States and her native Peru, Yvonne’s bold, expressive style has found a loyal following of collectors who like their paintings to radiate joy from every brushstroke.
