Ed Robinson is a British mixed media artist who creates bold, vibrant paintings that explore light and texture. His works are characterised by their use of a variety of media, including printed letters, watercolours, acrylics, and oils. Often inspired by his surroundings, Ed frequently depicts seascapes, markets, and urban scenes.
Ed was born in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, in 1951. He studied graphic design and illustration at Great Yarmouth School of Art (now Norwich School of Art), and after graduating moved to London to work as a graphic designer where he began to explore mixed media painting.
Quickly developing a unique style Ed has earned a growing international following, with paintings held in private collections around the world. He has also exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe.
