Born in London, Jon Gubbay qualified as an interior designer in 1971. While a highly successful career in graphic design would follow, Jon’s ultimate ambition wouldn’t be achieved until he realised his dream; becoming a full time professional artist.

Since making the leap, Jon has soared; exhibiting extensively throughout London with multiple leading galleries, as well at at The Battersea Affordable Art Fair and his studio in Kent.

Best known for his peerless architectural abstraction, Jon’s canvases are a masterclass in thrilling immediacy; both of his tool of choice — the palette knife — and of his unrivalled artistic vision.
