A Tale Of Two Cities: Jon's diptych splits London into two distinct states of light. The left panel is dominated by a vertical pillar of blazing yellow and white glaze that completely dissolves the structure of Tower Bridge into a pure emission of light. This stands in sharp contrast to the right panel, where the modern skyline is caught in a darker, more sombre midnight state, creating a powerful lateral shift across this ten-foot diptych.

Ephemeral Foundation: The entire lower foreground is consumed by a rolling, dense bank of ochre and cream. Jon has applied this layer with broad, sweeping brush strokes that obscure the foundations of the city, making the skyline appear suspended within a heavy, physical cloudscape rather than rooted in steel and concrete.

Geometric Spikes: The composition is anchored by clean vertical lines. The sharp, triangular silhouette of the Shard pierces the churning indigo sky, providing a fixed structural weight that prevents the fluid, expressive cloud-burst in the centre from overwhelming the canvas's balance.
