The phrase “a diamond is forever” was invented in 1948: a copywriter called Mary Frances Gerety dreamt it up for De Beers to sell more diamonds.
Obviously, we prefer art—it can hang in more places, and you don’t have to worry about the price. We hope our 8-inch size means as many people can give themselves (and each other!) something special to enjoy forever.
