  one exceptional reason to visit

ed robinson: urban legend is now open

We've transformed our studio into an Aladdin's cave. A riot of detail, movement, and imagination, and that visceral rattle and hum that makes a city tick.

These are works worth making a special journey for.

Because there's appreciating them through a screen. And then there's experiencing them in the flesh.

don't take our word for it.

let us make our case.

Enjoy four minutes and fifty-six seconds of unapologetic enthusiasm about extraordinary paintings, the things that make life richer...

and why Ed's new exhibition deserves an hour or two of your time.

appreciate them through a screen.

experience them in the flesh.

Ed's paintings are infinities of visual invention. Layers of paint, mixed media, unexpected textures and thousands of tiny decisions combine to create something impossibly intricate.

Even so; we won't ask you to travel blind.

Download our exhibition brochure. Explore Ed's collection. And maybe even find something worth standing in front of.

private viewing, on your terms

Let's address the elephant in the room.

We're in Woolwich. And while we happen to think Woolwich is rather marvellous, we know it isn't on everybody's doorstep.

So we've made visiting as easy as humanly possible.

We're open by appointment, which is a fancy way of saying you tell us when you'd like to come, and we'll do our very best to make it happen.

Weekends? Absolutely.

Friday evenings? Lovely.

An unusual hour that fits between life's seventeen thousand competing demands? Ask us.

You'll have time to explore the paintings properly, examine all those glorious little details, ask questions, have a drink and enjoy the collection without being hurried along.

And no, there's absolutely no obligation to buy anything.

We just want you to see what Ed has made.

Because the best way to discover whether you love a painting is to spend some proper time standing in front of it.

life's too short for ordinary walls

There are things worth going out of your way for.

Extraordinary places. Extraordinary people. Extraordinary art.

Things that remind you just how much beauty, imagination and sheer human ingenuity there is in the world.

We think Ed Robinson's new collection belongs firmly on that list.

So carve out an hour or two, gather your favourite person, and come and see what all the fuss is about.

Your walls might never be quite the same again.
