Chromatic Alignment: The visual weight of the canvas hinges on the mint green chassis of the vintage sedan. Maykel uses smooth glazes to capture the overhead light reflecting off the car's bonnet, directly coordinating with the pale green facade on the far-side of the street.

Linear Shadows: The left side of the composition is dominated by a grand, classical facade that projects a series of deep, sharp-edged architectural shadows across the wide pavement. This raking light slants diagonally through the lower third of the canvas, establishing an authentic, tangible record of intense, Cuban heat.
