how does it work?
Join today, and you’ll immediately receive a 7.5% discount off your next artwork, to welcome you to the art ladder.
That discount lasts for one year, starting on the date you joined.
If you use your discount within that period, you’ll go up a step on the art ladder, and earn 10% off your next purchase.
If you don’t and the year elapses, you drop down a step.

There are four steps to the art ladder:
7.5% - explorer
The first step on the art ladder. Explorers get a 7.5% discount. You become an explorer automatically when you join the art ladder.
10% - expert
The second step on the art ladder. Experts receive a 10% discount.
12.5% - master
The third step on the art ladder. Master level collectors are eligible for 12.5% off.
15% - legend
The final, highest step on the art ladder. Our gold plated, diamond encrusted legends at the very top of the art ladder receive 15% off everything they buy.
Every time you buy something you go up a level, and have your position on the art ladder topped back up to a full year.
Only in the event of a year passing without purchase do you drop down a level. Even then, you get another year added to your account, giving you an additional 12 months to make the most of your remaining discount, and climb back up to your previous position.

can I buy two paintings at once?
You can buy as many paintings as you want. That said, if you box clever and buy them one at a time, you’ll go up a level with each purchase, and earn a greater discount every time you do.
are you saying I can game the art ladder?
You absolutely can, the art ladder is designed to work for you. If you’re thinking of investing in something substantial, you might want to max out your position on the ladder by buying a couple smaller pieces first.
and if I don’t use my discount within a year?
You’ll drop down level and lose access to the discount that level affords you. That said; some of our best work is our most affordable, and we have some very nice limited edition prints for under a hundred pounds. You might know someone who’d like one…
can I drop off the art ladder entirely?
The art ladder rewards those who earn it, and if you don’t use it, you lose it. Even then, we’ve given you as much leeway as possible before you drop off entirely. You get an additional year even if you do drop down a level, and a purchase of any size will send you straight back up again.
can I use the art ladder for commissions?
100%. We’ve got a phenomenal group of artists, and they’re ready to go to work for you. The fact bespoke works are now available at an advantageous price for the first time makes commissioning something even easier than ever.
can I help someone buy a painting?
We're happy to ship to any address globally, friends and family included. If someone else's purchase sends you up another level on the art ladder? Even better.
what about shipping costs?
It would have been the easiest thing in the world to announce that art ladder discount weren't applicable to shipping costs. And I’ll be honest; we very nearly did. That’s not what the art ladder is though. If you live in the UK or EU - fantastic, this part doesn’t apply to you. If you live anywhere else, we’re going to do the right thing and put our best foot forward - your art ladder discount will be applicable to your shipping too.
